Koillection

Koillection is a self-hosted collection manager for organizing and tracking physical and digital items.

Description

Koillection is a self-hosted, open-source application designed for managing personal collections of various kinds, such as books, DVDs, stamps, or games. It functions similarly to a directory system, allowing users to create numerous collections and add an unlimited number of items within each. Currently under development are scraping capabilities to simplify metadata input. The application supports multiple users and offers features for wishlists and tracking loaned items.

Features

Koillection's core features include the ability to create, edit, and delete collections and items. Users can add metadata like text and images to items and utilize tags for cross-collection grouping. Basic sharing capabilities are also included, along with wishlist and loan item tracking, multi-user support, a dark mode, and multilingual support. The application is PWA-compatible and supports multiple database systems, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB. A REST API is available for integration with other systems.

Benefits

Koillection offers several key benefits, including: * Centralized management of diverse collections. * Flexible metadata input tailored to individual needs. * Efficient organization through collections, tags, and search. * Tracking of loaned items and wishlists for future acquisitions. * Support for multiple users and various database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB). * Available in multiple languages (English, French, Spanish) and compatible with Progressive Web Apps. * Open-source nature ensures transparency and community support.
