The LDAP Synchronization Connector (LSC) is an open-source provisioning engine that synchronizes data between various sources and targets. It supports diverse data sources, including databases (via JDBC), LDAP directories (like Active Directory and OpenLDAP), and files. LSC reads, transforms, and compares data to ensure consistent synchronization. It facilitates continuous synchronization, one-shot imports, and simple difference comparisons. Use cases include synchronizing identities from HR databases to enterprise LDAP directories and synchronizing accounts and groups between different LDAP systems. The connector offers advanced features for data manipulation and supports various LDAPv3 protocols.
