PrivateBin
PrivateBin is a secure, open-source pastebin that protects user privacy by encrypting data client-side, ensuring the server remains unaware of the pasted content.
Description
PrivateBin is a minimalist, open-source online pastebin prioritizing user privacy. Unlike traditional pastebins, PrivateBin employs client-side encryption using 256-bit AES in Galois Counter Mode, ensuring the server never possesses the unencrypted data. This design allows for plausible deniability for administrators regarding the content of pastes. The project is a fork of ZeroBin, enhanced with additional features and improved maintainability, while retaining compatibility with ZeroBin's data storage format. Users can optionally set passwords for added security, control paste expiration, and utilize features like Markdown support and syntax highlighting.
