Prometheus-X is an open-source stack designed to create European data spaces, focusing on enabling trusted, interoperable data sharing and trustworthy AI across sectors like education, skills, and tourism. It provides a lightweight, easy-to-deploy infrastructure that integrates secure data exchange, personal data management, and AI functionalities, ensuring data sovereignty by design. Developed by a cross-sector open-source community, it interoperates with other leading stacks such as EDC, SIMPL, and FIWARE, making data spaces accessible for individuals, public institutions, and organizations. The project is co-funded by the European Union and France, aiming to boost the EU economy through seamless, human-centric data sharing and innovation.
